“Companies have three operational goals,” Christ explains. “They want to deliver better products and experiences to their customers. They want to become more agile so they can do more things faster. The scope of this complexity and the speed with which it increases each day can’t be overstated. There are already more than 24,000 public web APIs now available. IT teams struggle to secure API endpoints as well as drive efficiency through reuse. Industry analysts all agree that SaaS spending in the enterprise will continue to grow substantially in the next several years, accounting for more than half of all public cloud spend. Finally, we see the rise of the citizen developer with 65% of development expected to be based on no code/low code tools by 2024.
