The Nigerian stock exchange benchmark index rose by 0.02% to settle at 59,014.85 points and s a result, the year-to-date (YTD) return increased to 15.15 percent, while investors earned N7.57 billion as the market capitalization closed at N32.13 trillion.

Trade turnover settled higher with the value of transactions increasing by 71.22%. In total, 892.95 billion shares worth N11.15 billion were exchanged in 9,274 transactions. JAIZBANK (+2.30%) dominated the volume chart with 139.89 million units exchanged, while GTCO (+4.74%) won the value chart with 2.65 billion in transactions.
