Tekedia Capital introduces FREE “Venture Investing and Portfolio Management” Program

For active members of the Tekedia Capital Syndicate, Tekedia Capital is introducing a unique investing and portfolio management program in collaboration with our sister firm, Tekedia Institute. The Venture Investing and Portfolio Management program aims to improve our members’ investment and portfolio management skills.

It is complimentary and available only to current Tekedia Capital Syndicate members. We will publish it twice a year; the first edition is set for June 5 – July 1, 2023.

As several of our members left in 2022 just as tax season was starting, we’ve now come to the realization that some of them may need assistance in order to better comprehend a variety of market system components. It is not “profit” if you received $50,000 from a Tekedia Capital Syndicate investment. It’s extremely likely that you borrowed that money (in which case the interest is an expense), that you paid bank fees, that you recharged your phone to watch the Tekedia Capital demo day, etc. You must maintain records in order to claim them as tax deductions.

Also, as you invest, look at industries to create portfolios. Because of this, we combine businesses from several industries to ensure that there is diversification. With this program, we hope to strengthen the environment. Program Structure and Curriculum: To view the Venture Investing and Portfolio Management curriculum, click here.
