Benefits

The programme offers numerous benefits to journalists. Firstly, successful applicants will have their fees fully covered and will receive a monthly stipend of £2,000. This stipend is designed to cover all essential expenses, including accommodation, food, and general living costs. Furthermore, we understand the importance of travel, and therefore, we will also cover the costs of travel to and from the UK, as well as any visa expenses.

During the fellowship, it is important for fellows to focus solely on their professional development and refrain from engaging in any other professional work. This allows them to fully immerse themselves in the programme and make the most of the opportunities provided.

In addition to the funding provided by the programme, some Journalist Fellows may also be employees of sponsoring organizations. These organizations have their own application processes and selection criteria. If you are interested in joining the fellowship through these or any other sources of funding, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
