Alibaba’s on demand unit soars to $30B valuation

Alibaba ’s newly formed on-demand online services division has reportedly surged in value to as much as $30 billion, after raising $4 billion in fresh funds. The China-based e-commerce giant recently formed the on-demand unit by combining food delivery service Ele.me and restaurant guide business Koubei.
