Closing today: JAMII Femmes Programme for African women Entrepreneurs ($10,000 grant per country)

Through the “JAMII Femmes” program, Women In Africa and The Coca-Cola Foundation will collaborate in 2022 to support 20,000 African women entrepreneurs over the ensuing three years.

Through improving the quality of life for tens of thousands of people, the JAMII Femmes initiative hopes to expand the influence of African women entrepreneurs on the continent’s economy. This will help bring about positive change in Africa.

The JAMII Femmes Cohort 2 is open to women of nationality or residing in Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Kenya who must 18 years of age and must be entrepreneurs with main focus in agric business

The program is divided into two stages. The first phase is a four month digital training program, for 7,000 women conducted by  Honoris United Universities, Africa’s first and largest network of private higher education institutions in:

  • behavioural intelligence,
  • critical thinking,
  • creativity and design thinking,
  • communication, collaboration,
  • entrepreneurship.

In the second phase, selected beneficiaries will participate in an acceleration program while 600 women will be given funding grants. Also a special prize of $10,000 will be awarded for each country.
