FG to establish a world-class fashion hub in Makurdi, Benue State

The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has announced that President Tinubu is planning to create a top-notch fashion hub in Makurdi, Benue State. This hub will be a game-changer for the thriving tailoring cluster in the state and is expected to be up and running within a mere 90 days.

The Vice President made this thrilling announcement during the grand launch of the Expanded National MSME Clinic in Makurdi, the vibrant capital of Benue State.

“Prepare to be amazed by another fantastic initiative from Mr. President himself, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed,” declared the Vice President. “He has unveiled his master plan to establish a world-class fashion hub in Makurdi, exclusively for the talented small businesses in the tailoring cluster of our great state. And guess what? This incredible hub will be ready to rock in just 90 days!”

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Benue State, Sam Ode; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Aondona Dajoh; the Chief Judge of Benue State, Maurice Ikpambese; members of the National and State Assemblies; and members of the State Executive and Security Council, among other notable personalities.

The Vice President was accompanied by heads of key agencies, such as the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Bank of Industry (BOI), Bank of Agriculture (BOA), Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), and the National Sugar Development Council (NSDC).
