inDrive is the second most downloaded ride-hailing app worldwide

inDrive (www.inDrive.com), a platform for global mobility and urban services, has once again secured its position as the world’s second most downloaded ride-hailing app in 2023, according to data.ai. This achievement marks the second consecutive year that inDrive has received this recognition. Additionally, inDrive has made significant strides by becoming the fourth most downloaded application in the Travel category worldwide.

The inDrive app garnered a total of 66.6 million downloads in 2023, as reported by data.ai, which includes data from Google Play and the App Store (excluding China, as it is iOS only).

inDrive’s growth trajectory remains strong as it expands its range of services to include finance, freight, and courier delivery. Furthermore, the company is venturing into new territories by introducing its ridesharing services in additional cities across Africa and the United States. Notably, inDrive has also obtained regulatory approval to offer its services in the APAC region and has plans to incorporate electric motorcycles into its fleet.

Driven by its unique peer-to-peer pricing model, inDrive aims to address the lack of affordable transportation options and limited earning opportunities, thereby tackling various forms of injustice. This overarching mission continues to guide inDrive’s operations.

Arsen Tomsky, the founder and CEO of inDrive, expressed his delight at the app’s continued success and attributed it to the dedication of the inDrive team and the trust placed in the platform by its users. Tomsky emphasized that inDrive’s primary goal is to challenge injustice and provide reliable mobility services at fair prices, while also creating meaningful earning opportunities for individuals in the communities it serves. He emphasized that inDrive’s impact extends beyond download numbers, focusing on the positive influence it has on communities and the world as a whole.

As inDrive celebrates this milestone, it remains committed to its mission of promoting fairness and accessibility in transportation services. According to data.ai, in 2023, inDrive emerged as the ride-hailing app with the highest number of downloads in 13 countries, encompassing a total population of over 559 million people. These countries include Pakistan, Columbia, Egypt, Peru, and Morocco.
