The Ecobank Fintech Challenge selects and partners Fintechs that are ready to scale, offering them support and access to possibilities in Ecobank’s 35 African markets. What is the goal? To help them flourish as potential Pan-African Fintech success stories.

The Challenge is open to any African Fintech companies.
Fintechs interested in applying should give facts about their product as well as a demo.

The Ecobank Fintech Challenge Grand Finale is attended by the selected finalists.
The overall winner in 2023 will get a $50,000 cash prize.
All finalists are accepted into the Ecobank Fintech Fellowship, which allows them to pursue deals, integration, and commercial partnerships with the Ecobank Group.
- As a finalist, you will be initiated as an Ecobank Fintech Fellow and will have the opportunity to explore the following opportunities:
- Product launch on a global scale
- Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to seek integration with Ecobank and potentially launch goods in over 30 African markets served by Ecobank.
- Cash awards will be awarded in the competition.
- The top three Challenge winners will get cash prizes of $15,000, $12,000, and $10,000, respectively.
- Collaborations between service providers
- Ecobank may select start-ups as local country-level partners in any of Ecobank’s 33 nation ecosystems.
- Access to the Pan-African Banking Sandbox at Ecobank
- Fellows will have access to a dedicated team to assist Ecobank with API testing, allowing Ecobank to strengthen their products for the pan-African market.
